Drinking a cup of coffee while social media networking is my favorite form of multitasking. So you won’t be surprised when I tell you that you could in the time it takes a drink of coffee you can increase your networking presence on LinkedIn. The key to my success is using the LinkedIn Sharing Bookmarklet to “speed share” interesting articles I find.
Internet Explorer users right click on the button and select add to favorites. Click yes if you see a Security Alert. Select Favorites Bar for Create In and click Add.
Post to updates is checked by default. You can add an comment in the text box, check the twitter box to send a tweet, and select who will see the post in their LinkedIn updates.
To Send to individuals start typing the name or email address to open an drop down selector to choose the recipients from. Use the standard message or write your own.
Since I some coffee left, I have two bonus tips for you:
Bonus Tip – Editing or Deleting a Post:
You have fourteen minutes to edit your discussion. Click the See More link your post will appear on its own page and you can then click the Edit link to open the post to make changes.
