You’ve got a Facebook Business Fan Page, now how do you get fans? The first thing Facebook wants you to do is suggest your new page to your friends and hand over your email contact list. but there are other more creative and compelling ways to give your friends and business associates opportunity to like your page. 1. Your Social Media Network Personal Profiles
Easy and effective: Add a link and an invitation to join your page on your Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter profiles.
2. Use the Share Button
Turn your friends into fans. Share the page or a great article and add a compelling comment and invite to join.
Click the Share link at the bottom of the left side menu to share the page or pick out a great article to share and click the Share link.
3. @ Tag Your Page
If you’re a fan of your own fan page, @ tag your page in a status update on your own personal profile wall to create a message with a link to your page.
Type your message and tag your page by typing the @ symbol and the first few letters of your fan page name (this works whether you have your username registered or not), and it will appear from a drop-down menu to select. This creates a link to your page that your friends can choose to click on.
4. Your Email Newsletter Subscribers
Send out an invitation to subscribers, with a description and an incentive that encourages them to like your page.
5. Display your Facebook Logo in your Newsletters.
Replace the usual “Join our Fan Page” with something like “Join our Facebook Community.”
6. Your Email Signature Block
Include a link to your business fan page in your email signature.

7. Add the Like Locker Pro WordPress Plugin to Your Blogsite
Use Like Locker Pro to add premium content to a post, such as a video or a free download, which can only be unlocked by clicking the Like button linked to your page.
8. Add a Custom Welcome Landing Page with a Video
Adding a welcome video to your Facebook page welcome tab is a proven way to increase likes from visitors.

9. Give Away a Free Item
Exchange liking your page for anything that it is of value to a visitor. When your visitor clicks the like button the reward page is revealed.
10. Use Facebook Social Plugins
Choose from a list of plugins in the Resource Section in your Page Editor to add fans to your page. Our favorite is the Like Box which you add to your blogsite.
Plus like other people’s Fanpages using Facebook as your page and if you write a comment on a blog where you can use Facebook change the name to your fanpage page in the drop down menu this is great for getting people to come and look at your page 🙂
